How To Apply To AMP SCITT

To apply for teacher training in England, all applications are submitted through the Government’s “Apply for teacher training” service. This national system provides a clear, structured process for submitting and tracking your application.
Guidance and support for completing your application is available via the Get Into Teaching service, which outlines each stage of the process and offers advice on preparing a strong application.
When applying, you will need to enter the relevant course and training provider codes. These ensure your application is correctly matched to your chosen route and subject. The AMP SCITT provider code is 25F.

What happens next
Once you have submitted your application through the Apply for teacher training service, your application is reviewed by AMP SCITT.
You will then be guided through the next stages of the process:
1. Application review
Your application is checked to ensure it meets the entry requirements for your chosen route and subject.
2. Interview and selection process
If shortlisted, you will be invited to attend an interview. This may include subject-specific discussions and further assessment activities.
3. Outcome and offer
Following interview, you will receive a decision. If successful, you will be offered a place on the programme and provided with full next-step guidance for preparing to start training.
Assessment Only Route

Teaching Internship
To apply for our Teaching Internship, submit our application form here during the application window. Successful applicants will be invited to take part in the selection process, with final placements confirmed based on subject availability and programme suitability.
