Teaching Internships help you experience life in the classroom, inspire students and join a team of teachers who can give you an insight into what it’s like to be part of the profession.

We are offering Internships for undergraduates who are in their second, third or final years, and master’s students who are considering teaching;

  • physics
  • chemistry
  • computing
  • design and technology
  • modern foreign languages

What’s on offer?

Three week classroom experience.

Earn up to £455 per week (on completion of the full 3 weeks internship, in line with National Minimum Wage requirements)

Hands on classroom experience, professional training on planning, teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques.

All AMP SCITT interns are guaranteed an interview for our Initial Teacher Training programmes and will receive a professional reference once the intern programme is completed.

Must be available from 8th June 2026 – 26th June 2026

Unfortunately, those who have taken part in this internship previously or have already secured a place on an ITT course are not eligible for this opportunity.
